Cardi B. No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 Charts

We’ve all been watching to see would Cardi B. beat Nicki’s record topping the Billboard Charts at No. 2. Bodak Yellow is now the first song by a female solo rapper to top the charts in almost 20 years. Lauryn Hills holds the title at the first with her single, “Doo Wop (That Thing)” released in 1998.

Cardi also got some praise from J.Cole referencing her recent Breakfast Club interview, “Cardi b I seen your breakfast club interview, loved it,” he wrote. “Don’t put all that pressure on your album. You already won. Just drop & repeat.”
