The Cavaliers are cleaning up their roster with several big-time trades seemingly in hopes for a brand new team, minus Lebron James. The team is third (31 – 22) in the Eastern conference trailing behind the Boston Celtics (39-16) and Toronto Raptors (37-16).
Dwyane Wade has been traded to the Miami Heat after a short run with Lebron in his hometown. Wade has confessed that he only signed a one-year deal with the Cavs in hopes to retire in Miami with the Heat. There he’s earned 3 NBA titles – 2 of them with Lebron.
Shortly after that, the Cavs agreed to a trade with Isaiah Thomas, Channing Frye and a first-round pick to Los Angeles Lakers. Jordan Clark and Larry Nance Jr. are also part of this trade fiasco.
It’s also reported, the Cavs completed a three-team deal with Sacramento and Utah. To receive the forward Rodney Hood, the Cavs traded Derrick Rose and Jae Crowder to the Utah Jazz. From the Kings, they will receive guard George Hill in exchange for Iman Shumpert.
Wonder how Kyrie Irving is feeling?
