Dave Chappelle Attacker Charged with Assault with a Deadly Weapon

Isiah Lee, the man who attacked Dave Chappelle on May 3rd, is being charged with assault with a deadly weapon. The attack happened at the Hollywood Bowl stage when Chappelle was appearing at the Netflix Is A Joke Festival. This attack comes two years after Lee released a song about the comedian in 2020 entitled “Dave Chappell.” Although his Instagram posts are gone, the man also known as “NoName_Trapper” has a strong social media presence because of the attack. Lee is 23.
