A wildfire at the southern border of Oregon broke an unfortunate record this weekend. The McKinney Fire broke out right near the state line and is now the largest fire in California for 2022. The fire set the record only one week after the previous record was broken. The blaze started on Friday in the Klamath National Forest and by Sunday afternoon, it had not been contained at all. It’s exploded to over 50,000 at this point. Our thoughts and prayers go out to everyone living in and around that area as well as first responders.
