Though the Los Angeles Rams put up a good fight as Super Bowl LIII was the lowest scoring game of ever, the New England Patriots take home yet another trophy. This is the Patriots sixth title in 18 seasons.
Tom Brady is defying the odds of age as he is 41 with 6 titles to his name through the Patriots team making him the first of the NFL with those stats.
Additionally, wide receiver Julian Edelman took home the Super Bowl LIII MVP as a nine-year-veteran as the second leading receiver in NFL playoffs history.
Not only was the score low, but ratings were lower as well. CBS has reported at least a 5% decrease in viewership of Super Bowl LIII. The results don’t exactly come as a surprise as ratings have dropped in support of former quarterback Colin Kaepernick’s stance in kneeling and boycott of the NFL as a whole.
We will see what happens in Miami next year!
