The trailer for Eddie Huang’s directorial debut was uploaded to the late rapper’s YouTube channel on Tuesday (January 19). Pop plays a key role as the main character’s basketball rival Monk. The Movie plots as a basketball player known as “Boogie” from Queens, struggles to juggle issues in high school, having a girlfriend, and the competition on the basketball, as well as his parents pushing him to earn a scholarship.
